This is not a good place to go to eat in. The service and atmosphere is terrible. It takes ages to get served as they prioritize the drive thru and deliver orders. When you do get served often things with your order will be wrong. If you do go at least sit upstairs. When I last went the app failed to work, I had to wait ages to speak to a manager to correct it and then after waiting ages again they couldn't even assemble my burger correctly!! Update 22/01/25 went during a week day and it's a better experience. Quicker service. Beware when ordering on the machines though, as some do not give you a receipt with your collection number. Luckily, I dare the number before or disappeared from the screen. The staff don't ask for the receipt.
Reviewed 5 months agoThe worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too! Ordered inside and had to wait 20 minutes. Stood and waited a further 10 minutes when our number was shown could see our meal but the manager was more interested in serving the young teenagers. Asked for some sauces and was told we had to buy them, when have you ever had to pay for them, asked if I could have them for the long wait time and still refused. We then heard they had messed up 3 other peoples orders while we were eating ours. Chips were terrible but we just wanted to get out of there.
Reviewed in the last weekI visit this McDonald’s quite often as it's close to home, usually in the mornings when I’m nearby or just want a quick breakfast. I almost always order the egg and cheese muffin meal. The food is consistent—hot, freshly made, and exactly what I expect. The hash browns are usually crisp, and the coffee is decent. One of the things I appreciate about this McD in Tunbridge Wells is that it’s usually calm and not too noisy or crowded, even during busier hours. It makes the experience more pleasant than some other fast food places. The staff are quick and efficient, and they clean up after customers quickly, which keeps the dining area tidy. There’s usually plenty of parking available, so it’s easy to stop by without hassle. The drive-thru can get busy, especially on weekday mornings, so sometimes there’s a longer wait there. That said, I’ve never really had to wait long when dining inside. Orders are typically prepared fast and correctly. Overall, this McDonald’s is a convenient and dependable option when I’m in the area. Although the food prices have gone up steeply in the last year, it’s one of the better locations I’ve been to when I’m looking for a quick and decent breakfast.
Reviewed 2 weeks agoAbsolutely the worst McDonald’s ever. The app never works for this branch—it constantly shows as “closed,” even when it’s clearly open. That means I can’t order ahead, can’t use my rewards, and I lose out on points every single time. It’s a total scam. To make it worse, they even charge for ketchup—something no other McDonald’s I’ve ever been to does. Seriously? Charging for a basic condiment? This place is a complete joke. Avoid it at all costs. look at their reviews it tells the story
Reviewed a month agoRight I'm giving it one star since that's the least I can. Order was placed by 8:21pm it is currently 9:45 and it's still not here. Two drivers have cancelled TWICE for no apparent reason, and since this place is absolutely unreachable unless you travel there (impossible for me at my location right not) there's no way to even cancel the order. What can I do to tell my children why their "fun Friday treat" is still not here?
