I visited this Saturday in the afternoon. My food was great I always have the vegetarian burger and my partner ordered Big Mac which he was happy with. Fast and efficient and clean. A staff member was cleaning all the time and he was doing a great job. I have been here before and always a good experience. Low marks for ambience but it is on a retail estate so not much outlook. But that's not really their fault. Lucky to get a parking space as there is not much parking available. I will be visiting again as it's my local and have always had a good experience.
Reviewed 2 months agoDear McDonald’s Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a recent experience at your Tunbridge Wells restaurant. I ordered a Big Mac meal and found a long hair inside the sandwich. I returned to the restaurant the following day to report the issue. The manager offered to replace the sandwich, which I declined, and instead I accepted two coffees. However, what concerned me most was the lack of professionalism and hygiene standards. The manager appeared completely unapologetic and uninterested in addressing the issue. When I showed her the review I intended to post, she did not even take the time to read it. Additionally, I observed several staff members working without hair caps, which raises serious concerns about food hygiene and safety practices at this location. While I appreciate the replacement offer, the overall response was dismissive and did not reflect the level of customer care expected from a global brand like McDonald’s. I request that this matter be investigated, that appropriate hygiene standards are reinforced at this restaurant, and that staff are trained to handle such incidents more professionally. Reviewed 3 months agoQuick table service, even though they forgot one item, it was no big deal, and ir was quickly obtained. Parking was easy and the staff were polite and friendly. The food was as expected- good! My son's and I thoroughly enjoyed eating there.
Reviewed 4 months agoPaid for premium delivery that was supposed to take 20 minutes and ended up taking an hour and a half. When food arrived it was stone cold and have tried to contact the store for for over 30 minutes and nothing, its now almost 10pm so sippose that means no dinner for me tonight. Absolutely disgusted and won't be ordering from here again
Reviewed 3 months agoWent through the drive through at 7:00pm Tuesday night and the stuff wasn’t rude however there was no talking to the customers not even is that everything for or thank you. stuff was very moody. Being a shift manager myself into an assistant manger I think the mangers where at fault running the shift as the stuff was eating at the window and giving my food unprofessional really for not only crew but for mangers allowing them to do this no hygiene in place all crew wearing jewellery and earrings. I believe if the BM was to see this and see how it was running I don’t think they would be very happy. I’m not someone to moan however I just think this was a really poor standard from the restaurant fry’s also wasn’t cooked long enough so I’m guessing people are pulling the baskets up to soon or there dropping 2 at the same time in the same vat just disappointed with the mangers as this is not how I would expect it if it was me running a shift
